Celebrating Darby Creek Valley Association’s 30th Anniversary.
Come race on the Darby Creek! When you finish, enjoy a free picnic along its banks! Bring your family, friends, or significant other. While you are racing, your family can walk the boardwalk over the large freshwater tidal lake next to Darby Creek, stop at the observation blinds to spot some of the 280 species of ducks, herons, and other birds that visit the wildlife refuge; keep an eye out for foxes, deer, red-bellied turtles, southern leopard frogs; and observe the rare plants and flowers that grow on this 1,200 acre refuge.
Activities include free canoeing, free fishing, bird walks, nature tours, and insect identification at the Cusano Environmental Education Center!
