The Camden Shipyard & Maritime Museum focuses on the history of local boat and ship builders, such as the New York Shipbuilding Corporation, as well as the planned shipbuilder communities of Fairview, Brooklawn, Audubon Park, and Bellmawr Park. The Museum also has exhibits about maritime explorers Robert Peary and Matthew Henson, local residents supported by local scientific institutions in their famous Greenland expedition of 1891.
