The Tidal portion of the Delaware has several convenient river access locations. These range from municipal or state boat launches to parks. Some are ramps suitable for both motor boats and paddlers to access, while others are hand-carry launches for kayaks only. Several marinas also line the shores of the Delaware, providing amenities such as ice, supplies, fuel, etc. Many of these do not have ramps and are therefore very difficult for kayakers to access. Click on the links below to find appropriate access points and marinas for your trip.

From the River

Once you’re on the Delaware River, boaters can visit several marinas along the shore offering transient slips and amenities such as food, fuel and pumpout stations. Note: most marinas cannot accommodate kayakers because they do not have ramps. Call ahead to inquire about accessibility.
